The trade deadline is less than 48 hours away from us, and rumors are getting kind of crazy at the time, with selling teams trying to make the most of their tradable assets while playoff contenders are pretty much desperate to get better prior to the break.

A lot of information has been flowing up and down throughout the entire campaign but now that things are going do to the wire, it’s our work to tell apart the good intel from the mere gossip. Having said that, let’s give you the top 5 NBA trade rumors up to date.

5. Wizards Shopping Marcin Gortat

The Washington Wizards are on a roll right now and are winners of 5 straight matchups despite the temporary loss of All-Star point guard John Wall, but it seems like they’re still not comfortable with their current roster and would be willing to part ways with their Polish center.

Gortat is a great pick and roll player but not much more, and at age 33, he’s not going to be around for much longer. So far, he’s putting season averages of 8.9 points, 8 boards, 1.7 assists and 0.7 blocks per game on 53.7% from the floor.

4. Wizards Pursuing DeAndre Jordan

On that matter, if Washington manages to part ways with their European veteran, the next man up to fill their void down low would be DeAndre Jordan, although it seems like the Los Angeles Clippers are asking way too much for a guy that’s set to become an unrestricted free agent.

Jordan would be a major upgrade over Gortat for sure and could help lock down the paint for Washington, who has struggled mightily in the defensive end of the floor, especially against subpar squads. Everybody wants a piece of DeAndre right now, but Washington is reportedly set to be quite aggressive in their pursuit.

3. Jazz Interested in Avery Bradley

According to several reports, the Utah Jazz wouldn’t hesitate to part ways with any of their players not named Donovan Mitchell or Rudy Gobert, and after several rumors that pointed towards both Joe Johnson and Rodney Hood leaving the team, it seems like they’re actively trying to land Avery Bradley.

Bradley’s set to become an unrestricted free agent and the Clippers wouldn’t mind sending him anywhere with him unlikely to commit for the long run at the Staples Center. Furthermore, Bradley was also linked with a move to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

2. Thunder Looking to Replace Andre Roberson

The Oklahoma City Thunder has entered a major slump on the defensive end, mostly because of the season-ending injury their defensive standout Andre Roberson suffered over a week ago, and they just can’t seem to shake off their defensive woes ever since.

For that matter, it seems like, besides Avery Bradley, the team’s trying to pursue either Tony Allen or Moe Harkless, as OKC is still on the verge of playoff contention but just can’t get stops without Roberson in the hardwood, and they don’t want to risk losing Carmelo or George for nothing.

1. Boston Shopping Marcus Smart to Land Scoring Guard

Danny Ainge and the Boston Celtics aren’t quite done yet, and they’re still keen to land a top-tier scorer to lead the second unit and help ease some pressure off Kyrie Irving’s shoulders, but they’re not willing to part ways with any of their first round picks in order to do so.

That’s why they’re currently willing to let Marcus Smart go, trying to get a 1st rounder out of him to include him in any deal for either Tyreke Evans or Lou Williams, the two most desired players as we head towards the trade deadline.
