Two-time MVP Stephen Curry has changed the face of basketball forever. His shot is sweet, his game is pure, and his impact is prevelant.

But as great as Steph has become, his path to stardom wasn’t so easy. Dealing with a myriad of ankle injuries early in his career, the guy’s future in the league was very much on the line before he pulled it all together.

Today, while things haven’t gotten nearly as bad, some questions about the reliability of his ankles are starting to resurface. After missing time already this season due to ankle trouble, Steph as once again been ruled out the next few games after tweaking his ankle in practice.

Whether Curry’sankle problems are resurfacing or not, it has to be frustrating for the guard to be missing so much time due to the issue. Via Marc Spears of  The Undefeated:

Warriors guard Stephen Curry told ESPN’s The Undefeated his frustration level is on “1000” after spraining his ankle during a “freak” accident during shoot around this morning. Curry added that it’s not a major injury and he hopes to play Saturday at Toronto.

Luckily, as Spears mentioned, the injury itself isn’t very serious. But if these minor ankle tweaks continue, could it spell the end of Curry’s amazing MVP caliber run?
