If there’s one thing the Warriors have had over the last couple of  years, it’s luck.

While they’ve no doubt earned every bit of their accolades, they have, admittedly, had it better than a lot of other teams, especially when it comes to health. When it comes to keeping players on the court, the Dubs have been pretty lucky, with no major injuries occurring to their star core players.

But for now, that luck seems to be running out. While it is nothing serious, the latest injury to their superstar point guard, Steph Curry, is definitely a cause for concern, especially considering his ankle-troubled past.

The guard is expected to miss at least two weeks in what is being called a right ankle sprain. Obviously, he could miss much more time if the ankle fails to heal efficiently. Regardless, the Warriors will miss his presence on the floor for these next stretch of games, as he was averaging 26.3 points, 6.6 assists, and 5.1 rebounds this season.

Whether or not we’ll have the coveted Christmas day matchup we dreamt of, or if it’ll be one without Steph remains to be seen. But with time continuing forward, the Dubs will have to learn how to play without him.
