Somehow, someway, the Spurs always find a way.
Even without their best player (and arguably the best two-way player in the league), even without their veteran point guard, even against a team with so much talented stars on the roster, the San Antonio Spurs found a way to win this game.
The beginning of the game looked very different, as OKC was up by over 20 at one point. San Antonio looked slow, tired, and old.
Slowly, though, the team started making shots, and they rallied behind LaMarcus Aldridge, Danny Green, and the legendary Greg Popovich.

Eventually, they pulled away with the stunning three-point win over the Thunder, who have fallen to 7-8 after the loss.
There have been many surprises this season. But are the Spurs the biggest surprise of all?
Without Kawhi, nobody would have expected them to be 10-6, and fourth in the West. Like it or not, the team has overachieved and has proved, once again, that nobody should count them out. Not even with their biggest star on the sidelines.
