Team gear is one of the main ways an NBA franchise can make money. Fans going to games, and even across the other side of the globe, purchase all sorts of team merch to rep their squad wherever they go, be that a jersey, pair of shorts or cap. But something tells me not a lot of Cleveland Cavalier fans are gonna be wearing the Cavs’ newest release.
Not wanting a repeat from 2010, Cleveland has gone to extreme lengths to try and sway LeBron James to stay in the Wine and Gold beyond next season, and it’s only August.

You would think the Cavaliers’ organization would act as if LeBron is definitely staying after next season and keep everything under wraps, but I guess nothing can get in front of making a few dollars.
With these newest batches of merchandise being released, it’s clear as day to see the Cavs are legitimately worried about James moving on in the summer of 2018, and they’ll resort to anything it seems to keep King James in Ohio.
