Adidas has had a long-lasting partnership with the NBA, providing the league with uniforms for over a decade.
But now it’s Nike’s turn. Nike now has an 8-year deal with the NBA, and will make the jerseys, shorts and compression equipment for every team in the league.
The partnership began at the 2016 Rio Olympics, when Nike made the Team USA jerseys, and gained valuable feedback from the Team USA players, such as Kyrie Irving:
“The mental advantage of a quality uniform is priceless. The fact that Nike listened to all of our feedback while developing the new NBA uniforms speaks volumes. I’m excited for the new fit and feel.”
Each jersey next season will feature Nike’s signature Swoosh on both the jersey and shorts, which may prove as an eyesore for some fans.
If you’re one of those fans, you can make the decision for yourself, as we’ve provided every Nike jersey released so far down below for you to critique.
